As part of product development, we offer in vitro screening tests to assess SPF and UVA protection performance. These methods are intended for formulation development and comparative screening.
We are among the few CROs globally equipped with the Double-Plate In-Vitro SPF Testing System with Robotic Arm (ISO 23675:2024). This advanced automation eliminates human error and ensures perfectly uniform product application. This is our preferred in vitro route for standardized SPF assessment for claims, in markets where the method is recognized.
Our testing is BIPEA France validated.
ISO 24443 determines UVA protection factor in vitro. This method is offered only where a valid SPF result has already been generated using an applicable ISO SPF method, and is not offered as a standalone route to an SPF or UVA claim.
Our dedicated photobiology team conducts in-vivo SPF and PA evaluations under globally recognized ISO standards (ISO 24444:2019, ISO 24442:2022).
We are leading the way with Hybrid Diffuse Reflectance Spectroscopy (HDRS) — the latest non-invasive SPF testing method that delivers accurate results in seconds. With no UV exposure, it offers a safer, faster, and more precise approach to SPF evaluation.
Our testing is BIPEA France validated.
Comprehensive preclinical photobiology capabilities including ex-vivo UV-induced pigmentation models, oxidative stress evaluation, melanin expression analysis, biomarker studies, and in-vitro SPF/UVAPF testing designed to accelerate product validation and innovation.
